SERAP GUMUSOGLU, Fine Artist (TURKEY) SCULPTURIST / PAINTER / DESIGNER “Very few people are like stars. They advance on their own orbit, inhabiting their own rules and faith; the path of divine love” She has graduated in 2003 from Fine Arts Faculty of Mimar Sinan University with MSc Degree in Graphic Art Design. She has then performed post-graduate studies on “Figurative Sculpture” at Heatherley School of Fine Arts in England. She was involved in various workshops and exhibitions with major international painters and sculpturists and subsequently her art works were exhibited in major exhibition venues museums and personal collections. The nature, which reflects the purity, dynamism and naivity, is the main theme in her work. She reflects her internal love and understanding of divine power through nature’s rock and clay materials, giving life to them. Serap Gumusoglu says “I love the nature, I learn everyday a new aspect of it and the love inhabited in it.” She continues her works and chairs an art colony in her personal “Serap Gümüşoğlu Art Atelier”, in Istanbul, Turkey.
